DocA provides training opportunities of Documentary film professionals through Workshops and Residencies which bring together both beginner and industry professionals for a much-needed skill exchange through interactive sessions.

The Claims Conference is proud to partner with DocA – Documentary Africa for the second webinar of 2023! This session is designed to help attendees define their goals and maximize opportunities when working on films about the Holocaust or other challenging topics. Experts in the fields of rights clearances, release strategies, and both traditional and digital distribution – Elizabeth Klinck, Wendy Bernfeld, and Louise Rosen – will lead this one-hour session covering topics such as managing third-party rights, monetizing your footage, planning for distribution, coordinating festivals and impact campaigns, and licensing windows, including all forms of VOD.

15, 16 & 18 November 2021

DocA in association with Elizabeth Klinck hosted an online workshop on Research and Rights Clearance for Documentary film producers dealing with Film, Photos & Music; on the 15th, 16th & 18th NOVEMBER 2021. The workshop was mainly centred on Archival footage and/or still images.
